ECSC Quilters 2008 Quilt

Made by the ECSC Quilters
The name of the 2008 quilt pattern for the auction quilt is "Road to Oklahoma"

Value $950.00

The quilt is queen size. Members of the Senior Center quilt group began construction of the quilt mid-May and worked each Wednesday session 9:30 - 11:00 am, until the end of July - when it was sent to one of our members' daughter-in-law to be machine quilted. The fabric was purchased specifically for this quilt and the project was overseen by member Marilyn Olson who coordinated putting the blocks together.
This is not an ordinary quilt that can be purchased at Target, K-Mart or any other outlet store - and we have put a value of $950 on it. Over $200 was spent for the fabric and quilting, not counting the numerous hours put in by the 12 - 16 members that worked on the project.
