Tole Painting Class
Tole Painting Class being taught at the East County Senior Center from 10am to noon every Wednesday starting September 11.
What is Tole Painting you ask? It is a method of painting that anyone can achieve using techniques taught by our patient instructor.
You will create items suitable for gift-giving to heirlooms, no experience necessary, all skill levels welcome, open to all ages!
Learn techniques and skills to paint florals, landscapes, and other subject matter. Enjoy visiting, sharing, and making new friends
while learning a new skill or practicing an old one or just stop by and check out the class. Fee $7 per class.
East County Senior Center is located at 276 Sky River Parkway, Monroe, WA 98272. No need to sign up,

This is our Summer edition of The Boomerang
The Boomer Generation is from 1946 to 1964
We will be featuring "Try It Out Tuesdays."
This series of Tuesday night programming is intended to generate a sense of how good life is and will continue to be for all of us.
We will focus on reinventing and learning new things about ourselves, wine, beer, food, travel, education, crafts and hobbies which
will provide a continuing outlet for your self-expression and creativity.

January 18th Pancake Breakfast
You're invited to the monthly Pancake Breakfast at the East County Senior Center
on Saturday, 8 - 10:30am.
Enjoy a wonderful meal of pancakes, eggs, ham, sausage, coffee, milk, and juice prepared and served by our very own volunteer crew.
Pancake Breakfast is every third Saturday of each month. Cost for adults is only $5 and children under 12 are $3.
After expenses, all proceeds are used for the general operating funds of the Senior Center.
This fundraiser is organized and operated by Seniors.
It has been a tradition here in the Valley for over 36 years and is a wonderful place to bring your family for a great home-cooked meal!
No reservations required - just come on in!

Playing down 'Senior' in 'Senior Center' for Boomers
With "Try It Out Tuesdays," the center's evening offerings include beer sampling,
sushi making, life story writing and sessions on massage, travel and digital photography.
